So we’re here in Tbilisi – for the last three days We had a workshop seminar on fundraising Fundraising is Fundraising is Fundraising is Oh, fundraising is a lot of things. Change. Trust. Trust. Trust. Opportunities. Opportunity. Opportunity. Fundraising is like Olympic Games. Challenging. Teamwork. Magic. Frustrating… but I think that after this three days my word has kind of changed and I now think that It’s actually great to fundraise because I feel more confident. Trust goes… it’s from both sides. First of all the donors and the people they trust us that we could to make an impact and that we could Implement our ideas and it will change the society and from the other side we also trust donors with our ideas and We trust to tell them what we want to do and and how we want to do this One of discussions we had is about Common mistakes we are making when we create a project. Being well informed before even starting an application Or misunderstanding within reading some information or guidelines regarding the application You don’t need to wait for the deadline You need… the day before, or two days before During this workshop. I think that I’ve greatly improved my skills in results-based management. And now I’m able to create more… simple – in the way of wording – projects And I hope they will be more successful. It is very important to make our projects easy to understand and with very clear and logical structure How to write the correct project about the outcomes, outputs – I’m not experienced in this sphere in fundraising so much But I think it’s very helpful for me in my future work. We discussed creating a budget within the project application And the three things that we always have to have in mind are Continuous and permanent communication between the team not only project team, but also the others who are involved within the project It is also great to be fully Concentrated within making activities and defining all resources you need for each activity within the project It’s always better to work when you have a friendly environment and that’s how we feel within the network It’s always very inspiring and helpful to meet our colleagues from different countries, from different Houses. When I meet my colleagues from other countries from other regions, I feel very very very good Because it is solidarity and I understand that we, and I are not alone. All the things that we are doing in our own countries will help to develop our societies and make the world a better place.
