Lafayette Christian School’s principal keeps promise after students surpass fundraising goal

LAFAYETTE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL HAD A GOAL TO REACH THAT MANY WOULD THINK WAS NOT POSSIBLE. PRINCIPAL JON RUGENSTEIN GAVE THE STUDENTS A GOAL OF 10- THOUSAND DOLLARS TO REACH THROUGH THEIR FUNDRAISER “LAPS.”THE MONEY GOES TOWARD THEIR SPECIAL ACTIVITIES FUNDS. RUGENSTEIN TOLD THE STUDENTS IF THEY REACHED THEIR GOAL…HE WOULD KISS A PIG. THIS YEAR THE SCHOOL DONATED MORE THAN 12-HUNDRED DOLLARS TO LAFAYETTE URBAN MINISTRIES. RUGENSTEIN SAYS HE SAYS HE WANTED TO MAKE SURE THEIR HARDWORK PAID OFF. 3 #@IT WAS JUST REALLY NEAT TO SEE. I HONESTLY DIDN’T KNOW IF THEY COULD DO IT, OR NOT, BUT THEY DID IT. IF THEY’RE WILLING TO WORK THAT HARD, I’LL DO SOMETHING SILLY AND KISS A PIG. @# RUGENSTEIN SAYS HE IS HAPPY TO SEE THE STUDENTS GET SO INTO THIS FUNDRAISER TO HELP SOMEONE OTHER THAN THEMSELVES.
